Recently, I received a rejection for my latest story Kari's Fairy Tale and needed to escape while healing my wounded ego. I happened to come across one of my favorite authors' books that I hadn't read. I needed a break and indulged myself. I wasn't disappointed. For now, I can smile again, and try to learn from my mistakes from the rejected submission.
I just finished reading Chritina Skye's book "To Catch A Thief" It was wonderful. It's exactly the kind of edgy-romantic suspence writing that I would love to write.
